Random: GUH-HUH! Some people are fascinated by the name of Microsoft in the Banjo-Kazooie amiibo

As you probably already know, yesterday marked the launch of three new amiibo for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Perhaps the highlight was the legendary Rare bear and bird duo of the legendary Banjo-Kazooie Series.

Many superfans out there now post pictures of this particular statuette on social media and, well, some individuals seem to be more interested in their base. For some reason, they are impressed with Microsoft’s copyright – noting how “interesting” it is to see the name of the American tech giant on a Nintendo product.

Now Smash players are wondering what Steve’s base would be like. As explained by the Twitter user TheKrazyStew, Mojang is featured in the credits of the game’s characters, while Banjo’s was labeled only as Microsoft. So be prepared for similar reactions on social media whenever the Minecraft amiibo falls.

In case you are wondering, the From others recently launched amiibo, Terry Bogard – da Fatal Fury and King of fighters series – has SNK Corporation at its base.

Do you believe that a character belonging to Microsoft is now an amiibo? Were you surprised by the bottom of the Banjo & Kazooie amiibo? Have you unpacked yours? Leave a comment below.
