Random: even Suda51 is playing Super Mario 3D World + Bowser Fury this weekend

It was an exciting weekend for many Nintendo Switch owners with the first major release of the year Super Mario 3D World + Bowser Fury now available.

It’s not just us fans who are enjoying the game. Yesterday, Goichi Suda, also known as “Suda 51” (and the director of the next exclusive Switch No More Heroes III) shared the following tweet showing his own copy of the game and both of the new Super Mario amiibo.

Many responses were surprised to see that you can purchase the amiibo separately in certain regions and also noted how the new companion game in front of the Japanese version is known as “Fury World“instead of Bowser’s Fury.

Of course, this tweet also resulted in many questions about No More Heroes III. Although Suda did not respond to any of these comments, as you may recall, the game was postponed last year until 2021.

At the time, it was explained how the pandemic had affected the game’s development schedule, leaving the team with no option but to postpone the launch. There is still no word on when exactly it will arrive this year.

In addition to Suda51, Bowser (sorry, president of Nintendo of America) has been playing the game this weekend on the new Super Mario themed Switch.
