As seen earlier today by the Twitter account @ wight90297332, Nintendo’s Japanese release schedule for December features N64 titles Banjo-Kazooie and Blast Corps for the Wii U Virtual Console. Yes, apparently, should they leave today …?
As noted in the Gematsu tweet above, both links are not available. If you click on them, a message will appear explaining that the page has been deleted, modified or is currently available. In saying that, you can still see the listings on the main launch schedule page – with Microsoft Japan as the publisher.
Nintendo LifeWe assume this is a major Nintendo mistake. Still, we wonder why these two Rare games – a company now owned by Microsoft – are listed when neither game was released on the Virtual Console. Could it be a sign of things to come?
