The Rams put another player on the reserve / COVID-19 list.
Defensive tackle Michael Brockers was added to the list on Thursday. Wide receiver Cooper Kupp was put on the list earlier this week after a positive test.
No reason was given for Brockers to be placed on the list. If the test is positive for COVID-19, he will be out for Sunday’s game and the timing of the move suggests he will also be out as a close contact at high risk.
Brockers started every game this season. He has 51 tackles and five sacks.
If Brockers is out, he will join Kupp, quarterback Jared Goff and running back Darrell Henderson as key players who will lose the game against the Cardinals. Cam Akers’ running back seems to be on track to lose the game too.
The Rams will advance into the postseason with a victory or defeat for Bears on Sunday.
