Rainbow Six Siege’s next operation is officially Crimson Heist

February 16, 2021 It’s official. Rainbow Six Siege: Crimson Heist is on the way.

It’s kind of a Rainbow Six day. Ubisoft has just confirmed that the new Rainbow Six Quarantine name is not Parasite, after all, and now – after a leak appeared earlier – Ubisoft has confirmed that Crimson Heist is the next operation for Rainbow Six Siege. The Y6S1 of the FPS game is almost here.

The official image shows the same look that has been leaked all day. It is the silhouette of an unknown Rainbow Six Siege operator looking at the ‘camera’, sporting a turtleneck coat, cap and bright red round glasses. The image contains the logo of the multiplayer game and the words ‘Crimson Heist’ in Siege’s familiar font, with the caption “Doing the job can sometimes require a more creative approach”.

Ahead of the Rainbow Six Siege Year 6 Season 1 release date – and reveal, which is scheduled for the end of this month – we still don’t have any real details on what the new season will contain. But, of course, there are more leaks on that front as well.

Siege dataminer Benjaminstrike posted in early December, “Year 6, Season 1, is called Operation Crimson Heist”, and confirmed that he was 100% sure about it. The dataminer also tweeted about other features that are supposed to come into play for Y6S1, such as a “Gadget called ‘RCE-Ratero’”, new interface preferences menu options, and even the name and nationality of a new operation: a Argentine operator called “Flores”.

We hope to learn a lot more about the new operation this Sunday, so stay tuned.
