CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – I am worried about the temperatures only in the mid 40’s this afternoon, very cold. Along with low temperatures, rain will be intermittent for the rest of the day. This is due to an area of low pressure crossing a paralyzed front to the south, very similar to what happened yesterday. The rain will be heavy at times. Temperatures remain almost static tonight, in fact temperatures are likely to rise a few degrees on Monday morning as the milder air penetrates Lowcountry. The highs will be in the 60s on Monday, but the clouds will still be around. A cold front will cross the area on Tuesday, the highs will approach 70 degrees in the afternoon. The forecast is for more sun for the middle of the week. Temperatures reach low levels in the mid-70s on Thursday, with some showers. More sun will probably return to the forecast next weekend, it will be cold with highs in the 50s.
