Rain increases this weekend with snow potential for much of Siouxland on Sunday night

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – We had to enjoy another pleasant day across the region with most of us seeing highs in the 50’s.

There are many changes to the path and it will start with a few more clouds moving on Friday night, with lows between 30 and 30 seconds.

Clouds will continue to thicken during the day on Saturday, and a few showers of rain later in the day will become possible, especially in northeastern Nebraska, with highs from the mid-1950s.

Rain is expected to spread the region on Saturday night, with rain likely throughout the day on Sunday, as well as highs on Sunday between 40 and 40 degrees.

Sunday will also have a lot of wind, with gusts of winds of over 40 miles per hour at times, so Sunday will not be one of our most pleasant days.

Sunday night will start to get cold and that’s when a little snow will start to mix with the rain, first in western Siouxland.

So, when we enter Sunday night, we will see more snow mixing with the rain with northern Siouxland probably seeing snow for some time.

Northern Siouxland may end up seeing a few inches of snow with less amount the further south you go.

Keep in mind that this storm still has a long way to go, so things can change and you’ll want to keep up to date with the latest news from the weekend on News 4.
