‘Rage 2’ will be a freebie from the Epic Games Store next week

Anger 2 is coming to the Epic Games Store next week and can be all yours at no cost. Avalanche Studios and id Software’s first-person shooter will join Epic’s line of free games on Thursday, February 18th, along with Absolute Drift: Zen Edition.

Steam has a decent discount on Anger 2 as part of the Lunar New Year Sale – it has currently dropped from $ 60 to $ 18 – but it may be worth waiting a few days to get the basic game for zero. You can buy add-ons or the luxury edition too. Anger 2 had mixed reviews, but many critics praised the combat, so if you’re looking for a relatively stupid new shooter to check out, it might do.

Epic has offered one or two free games every week since it opened its store in late 2018. While the games on offer may not be to your liking, they are free, so there’s no harm in checking out retro strategy RPG spaces Halcyon 6 (the current freebie). There are often some important titles to win, such as Grand Theft Auto V or Star Wars: Battlefront II. Meanwhile, Epic is conducting a Spring Showcase settlement with businesses at companies like Hades, Control: Ultimate Edition (which PS Plus subscribers can get for free this month) and Cyberpunk 2077.
