Rachel Uchitel – who was recently photographed kissing married lawyer Ed Batts on the way home from a romantic getaway – claims he is already separated from his wife.
Earlier this week, Batts ‘six-year-old wife Robyn told the Daily Mail that he met Uchitel, better known as Tiger Woods’ former lover, online in November. He left her suddenly, says Robyn, less than a month later, closing the family bank account and boarding a red ship to Palm Beach, Florida, to stay with Uchitel, as well as dispatching his Porsche south.
“It is a great betrayal. The children are devastated. They wanted him to be there for Christmas and he wasn’t there, ”Robyn told the British outlet.
But Uchitel told Page Six, “Robyn is publicly humiliating her distant husband, from whom she has been separated for a long time, using me as a target.” She added: “It is sad that the media has once again taken a story out of context and is trying to paint me as a lover, when that is not the case.”
In the meantime, Uchitel will appear in the next HBO documentary, “Tiger”, and says it is his chance to tell his side of the story about another relationship, so that “the public can see how I have been defamed in the past decade”.
Uchitel, whose fiance died on September 11, made headlines when Woods’ then wife, Elin Nordegren, discovered his case, and it was later discovered that he had betrayed several women.
