Rachel Lindsay is evaluating The bachelor Final.
On Tuesday, the franchise’s first Black Bachelorette shared her feelings about the ending, in which Matt James gave his final rose to Rachael Kirkconnell, but did not order.

“I think it is both, and I think it is difficult for us to give an opinion on what Matt should do or how he should conduct his relationship with Rachael,” said Lindsay. “I think it’s just a personal decision.”
The duo also touched on James’ apparent concern when his mother, Patty, pressed him about whether his love for either of his two favorites was enough for an early marriage proposal.
James told Chris Harrison that he did not want to put Kirkconnell or Michelle Young in the same position his mother had been in – and later chose not to propose because of his confused emotions.
Lindsay agreed with Bush’s feeling that James was “hurt by his mother’s feelings that love won’t always get you there” and the time he spent defending her “hurt him a little in his ability to love” .

“This is a really good diagnosis,” said Lindsay. “Actually, I agree with you on that. I think it’s true. I think Matt has some problems that he needs to solve and he was starting to solve them this season, but that journey for him is not over yet. So I think that once that he can get through this … so he can finally get there. “

Last week, Lindsay expressed her disappointment that the show will not take a break between James’ season The bachelor and the next iteration of The maiden during a recent episode of Bachelor Party podcast.
She stressed that she does not intend to get involved in the next seasons of the franchise.
“I just don’t think things have been fixed in the right way,” she said. “Anyone who is standing up for the change, I don’t understand how you can be a part of this season, because, as we saw in this episode, there is still a lot of work to be done.”
