Quick recap: Bucks 120, Spurs 113

For the sixth consecutive time, the Milwaukee Bucks won a basketball game.

NBA.com Box Score

After one, the Bucks found themselves by seven points, 33-26. Donte DiVincenzo would lead the scoring column after the first period with six points, while DeMar DeRozan led San Antonio with eight.

The Spurs’ lead would double to double digits at the start of the second, but a massive 15-0 run by the Bucks would propel them back to the front. A Jrue Holiday three would close the half, filling Milwaukee’s lead to 57-50.

San Antonio would warm up from three in the third, allowing them to stay with the Bucks. However, the Bucks would remain in the lead, 88-84.

The Spurs would continue to play throughout the room, but Milwaukee continued to receive buckets, eliminating any chance of San Antonio making a worrying lap. The Bucks would put the finishing touches on a 120-113 win.

Stat that stood out

I’m going with Donte DiVincenzo. After a 20-point performance on Wednesday night that helped Bucks strengthen their win against Philadelphia, he delivered another respectable performance tonight. He concluded his game with 12 points, 11 rebounds and three assists. It is the fourth time this season that he has recorded ten rebounds. Now, he may not be able to finish a tray in the normal way, but he has proven to be great for Bucks lately, and it has helped them win basketball games.
