CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – A cold front will bring sparse showers to start the workweek in Lowcountry. A few showers this morning will give way to scattered showers in the afternoon and evening as the front passes through the area. Expect a generally cloudy sky today with warmer temperatures in the 60s. Behind the front, the sky will clear up tonight leading to a beautiful stretch of time for the next few days. Sunny skies are expected from Tuesday to Thursday, with highs in the mid-60s on Tuesday, high of 60 on Wednesday and low of 70 on Thursday. A cold front will try to move into the area, but it will likely stagnate in our north on Friday. This can bring one or two showers along with a slight cooling. The maximums will be between 60 and 60 minutes in the afternoon.
