Let this be a lesson for everyone – when you take over, you make an idiot out of you and me … what applies to this woman who asked a guy with one leg why he parked in a handicap spot .
Australian social media influencer Paniora Nukunuku – who serves @pnuks on TikTok – posted a series of videos last week documenting his meeting with an elderly woman who apparently approached him in the parking lot of a McDonald’s while he pulled into a parking spot.
Since PN has a prosthetic leg – as well as the equivalent of an impediment sign on his car dashboard – he parked in a handicap spot near the building. The problem … this woman seems to have assumed that he didn’t need to and was just parking where he wanted to.
Big mistake, because the guy scolds the woman – within reason, of course. He gets out of the car and films his prosthesis, and when he finally comes face to face asking her why she questioned if the poster was really his … it’s hilariously embarrassing.
Your point … not all people with disabilities are in wheelchairs and not all are very old and fragile (which also happens to be their biography of TikTok). Paniora says he went to the police because of that too, BTW, but they said they couldn’t do anything. So, he went to the internet.
Now, it’s understandable why the woman may have thought he was a young whippersnapper breaking the rules … because, yes, it does. And as she observes … she “desperately needs” access to those locations. It is also not clear * how * she asked.
Still … maybe next time, wait until they get out of the car before attacking – you can get some much-needed context clues!
