Quentin Tarantino Movie Performances, Classified

Nine films in his prolific career, the history of cinema has been incorporated into Quentin Tarantino’s bold style and stories. The two-time Oscar-winning screenwriter for “Pulp Fiction” and “Django Unchained” celebrates today his 58th birthday and, with that, we are celebrating the 10 best performances of his films.

Including some of his Oscar nominated actors, such as Samuel L. Jackson (“Pulp Fiction”) and Robert Forster (“Jackie Brown”), he also brought Christoph Waltz to two supporting actor Oscars in “Inglourious Basterds” (2009) and “Django Unchained” (2012) and, more recently, Brad Pitt for “Once Upon a Time in… Hollywood” (2019). There are also many who were not selected in the respective awards years, which deserve to be highlighted, or only stand out in their filmography. No classification is definitive, with some increasing (or decreasing) over time.

It is said that he is throwing in the cinema towel after his tenth feature film, we can only hope that he feels compelled to continue his adventure in various genres of cinema. As we continue to hear rumors of a possible version of “Star Trek” or a Django-Zorro crossover in his future, I personally hope that he will bring the completion of his “Kill Bill” series to the fray, which could exploit his daughter from Vernita Green (Vivica A. Fox), Nikki (Ambrosia Kelley), seeking revenge after her mother’s death at the hands of Beatrix Kiddo (Uma Thurman), also known as The Bride. In an interview last July, Fox shared his recommendation for superstar Zendaya to play an adult Nikki; however, an online petition was launched for Tarantino to reformulate Kelley for the role. Anyway, there is still no definitive word on whether the film is going to happen or not.

Variety weighed in over the years with movie ratings and best scenes from Tarantino. Make sure to revisit them too.
