Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip is not behind Archie’s skin ‘concerns’

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip were not members of the Royal Family that raised concerns about how dark Archie’s skin might be, according to a royal expert.

Meghan Markle revealed in her interview with Oprah that while she was still pregnant with Archie, she was told that her son would not have a real title and that they would not be entitled to security.

There were “also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might look when he is born,” she said.

The Duchess of Sussex did not reveal who raised these concerns – but a royal observer told The Sun that the queen and her husband were not part of this.

“I must make it clear here, I was told that she is not the Queen and is not the Duke of Edinburgh,” Chris Ship, ITV News Royal Editor, told the publication.

“So that only two members of the family remain,” he added. “The two people you stayed with are your father, Prince Charles, or your brother, Prince William, or your wives.”

However, the royal expert said the queen did not escape unscathed from the bombshell interview.

“This is very serious,” he continued. “They protected the Queen throughout this. But likewise they are criticizing the institution from which she runs and, therefore, you are criticizing his grandmother, the Queen. “

Asked about the conversation later in the interview, Harry refused to elaborate much further.

“This conversation I will never share, but at the time it was awkward, I was a little shocked,” he said.

But he said that discussion about “what will the children be like?” came “right at the beginning”.

“That was right at the beginning, when she was not going to get security, when my family members suggested that she continue acting, because I didn’t have the money to pay for it, all that kind of thing,” he said.

“Like, there were some really obvious signs, even before we got married, that it was going to be very difficult.”

The couple is expecting a second child and has revealed that it will be a girl on Sunday night.
