Queen airs the same day as Harry, Meghan’s all-rounder

Mark your calendars, real observers.

Queen Elizabeth II will speak in a TV speech on Sunday, March 7, ahead of Community Day, the same day that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s meeting with Oprah Winfrey is aired, according to reports.

Unlike last year’s Community Day service at Westminster Abbey, which marked the last royal appearance by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, this year’s plans were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Queen, 94, will instead share her message on a program that will air on BBC One, the Daily Mail reported on Monday. The TV special also includes royalty, including Prince Charles, Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Community Day is on Monday, March 8.

Last year, Harry, 36, and Meghan, 39, stepped down as senior royalty. On Friday, Buckingham Palace confirmed that the Sussex – who are expecting their second child – will no longer be working members of the royal family.

“While everyone is saddened by their decision, the duke and duchess remain very dear members of the family,” says the statement.

Harry and Meghan currently reside in California with their son, Archie, who will be 2 this spring.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Winfrey would seat Harry and Meghan for a 90-minute prime-time interview that would air on CBS.

“Winfrey will speak with Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, in a wide-ranging interview, covering everything from entering life as royalty, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure,” CBS announced previously .

The interview is considered a “cause for concern” inside the royal house, a source told Page Six, mainly for Harry’s older brother, Prince William.

Winfrey was a guest at Harry and Meghan’s luxurious nuptials in May 2018.
