GREEN BAY – Aaron Rodgers will be the guest host for a future “Jeopardy” episode, the Packers quarterback confirmed during his weekly appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Tuesday.
“One of my idols was Alex Trebek,” Rodgers told McAfee. “They are doing some shows as guests. It will be released here very soon, but I had the opportunity to be one of them … I am excited about the opportunity.”
Rodgers, a longtime fan of the game show, emerged victorious on his “Celebrity Jeopardy!” appearance in 2015, winning a $ 50,000 donation to the charity of your choice, the MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer).
Rodgers overcame “Shark Tank” star Kevin O’Leary and retired astronaut Mark Kelly in the episode.
“Jeopardy” is hosting a host of guests after Trebek’s death in November.
