Pyra and Mythra from Xenoblade join the list of ‘Smash Bros. Ultimate ‘today

Nintendo has revealed when you will be able to play as Pyra and Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 at the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. You won’t have to wait long, as the last fighters arrive today, March 4th.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate director Masahiro Sakurai offered a more in-depth look at the pair in a presentation, which you can check below. Pyra and Mythra work together. You can switch between the two at will and they have different movements. Pyra is a stronger damage taker and Mythra is more effective at sending enemies off the stage. According to Sakurai, an opponent’s Kirby’s copying ability will be different depending on whether he inhales Pyra or Mythra.

The pair arrives next to a Xenoblade Chronicles 2-thematic internship. It is set on the back of the Titan Azurda, who happens to be a flying dragon. You will see other titans passing in the background. There are also 16 more tracks for the song list in the challenge pack. The latest Mii Fighter outfits, in turn, include some from the Monster Hunter series and Ghosts and Goblins.

Challenger Pack # 9, which includes Pyra and Mythra, costs $ 6 as an independent DLC. The package is part of the Fighter Pass Vol. 2. The $ 30 pass also grants access to Min Min’s ARMS, Steve and Alex de Minecraft and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy, as well as two upcoming fighters that have yet to be revealed. These will enter the game by the end of the year.
