Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Game director Masahiro Sakurai will offer an in-depth look at the next character (s) arriving at the Nintendo Switch fighting game on Thursday morning. The newest episode of “Mr. Sakurai Presents ”will cover Pyra and Mythra, the duo of Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
Sakurai will explain everything from 9am ET / 6am PT, in a video on YouTube, which you can watch above. Nintendo says the presentation will take about 35 minutes and will include a release date for Pyra and Mythra.
There will be no more announcements of new fighters at Thursday’s presentation, Nintendo said.
Nintendo revealed the addition of Pyra and Mythra during a Nintendo Direct presentation in February. The pair appears in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 as a two-on-one ally of the main character Rex, and they are invited to the Smash Bros. at the end of this month.
Pyra and Mythra join the recently added characters Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7, Min Min’s Armsand Steve / Alex de Minecraft. They are the fourth of six new fighters promised as part of the Super Smash Bros. Final‘s Fighters Pass Vol. 2
