People aged 65 and over and health professionals can apply for consultations in Lee, Charlotte and Collier counties.

Many people reported in previous scheduling rounds that they saw “Schedules available” next to each county, but were unable to click to make an appointment in the last rounds of availability.

Publix posted a statement at the top of its registration page saying that its system was active, but full of other customers.

Publix advised people to don’t leave the page because if there was space available, they would automatically be redirected to a page with instructions on how to make an appointment.

Vaccination appointments are only scheduled online. Commitments can not be done by calling Publix or Pharmacy Publix.

Publix said it is actively engaging with customers in Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Customers can also call the Publix helpline after 9am at 1-800-242-1227.
