In the new Runic Power Theme Gameplay for PUBG Mobile, players can line up for a unique version of Erangel, where they will have a choice between one of three runic energies. After selecting their rune, each player will receive an invocation and boost ability, which can be consumed to provide strategic advantages on the battlefield. All rune skills can be recovered by looting Erangel’s vast terrain. Likewise, runes can be tried on PUBG MobileCheer Park, where players can complete daily rune missions to earn new rewards.

  • Flame Rune – Players can summon a wheel of flame that slowly rolls forward, causing burn damage to affected players. An additional boost ability adds an ammo-burning enhancement for a short time.
  • Arctic Rune – In addition to the boost ability that adds a freeze enhancement to the ammo, reducing healing effectiveness, players with this ability can summon a 3 × 3 grid of ice wall for protection in the middle of battle.
  • Wind Rune – This ability summons a semitransparent wind shield that reduces bullet damage from guns fired outside it. The boost ability increases the player’s movement speed and reduces the cooldown for a short period of time.
