PS5 replenishment update: check inventory at Gamestop, Walmart, Best Buy and more

In recent weeks, the PS5 has been restocked at several major retailers, including Best Buy, Walmart, GameStop and PS Direct. The consoles are still selling extremely fast, making it very difficult to protect the PS5 or the PS5 digital edition. At the moment, PS5 is sold out at all major retailers. With the holidays going on, we will have to see if the stock will be more available in the new year.

We’re looking out for when more PS5 units go on sale – just be aware that if you want one, you’ll have to be quick and potentially be willing to buy a package with games and accessories that you may or may not want. If you want to receive one relatively soon, this is the type of grant you need to make. With any luck, you will find a package that contains the most relevant items.

Where to buy the PS5

The PS5 and PS5 Digital sell for $ 500 and $ 400, respectively.

PS5 availability on PlayStation Direct

PlayStation Direct regularly opens a queue for buyers to purchase the PS5 (and anything else on the original site), but it usually takes more than an hour to wait and it is unclear whether the PS5 is still available. Still, it is worth checking PS Direct regularly, as it is the only store that still releases the PS5 with some regularity. However, the queues also appear to be somewhat random.

Note that finding a queue on PS Direct does not necessarily mean that the PS5 is in stock; it simply indicates high traffic to the store. It never hurts to get in and wait if you find the queue and stay at the computer for a while, but be aware that there is no guarantee that it will be in stock when you pass.

PS5 availability on GameStop

We don’t know when you’ll be able to buy a PS5 from GameStop again. The most recent refueling took place on December 18, and GameStop had the PS5 and PS5 Digital edition available as standalone purchases and in more expensive packages.

PS5 availability at Walmart

We don’t know when you’ll be able to buy a PS5 from Walmart again.

Walmart put the PS5, along with other state-of-the-art systems, on its website for the last time on the afternoon of December 17. For these refills, he provided more systems every 10 minutes for about half an hour, giving customers countless chances of getting one. It seemed to work and, in fact, we were able to place an order on the Walmart app, even though the bots quickly got as many orders as possible. However, these orders are not scheduled to arrive until January 8. They may arrive early, but you shouldn’t expect them to be ready for Christmas.

PS5 availability at Best Buy

Best Buy had the PS5 in stock on December 21, but it sold out extremely fast. We don’t know when the next refueling will take place.

Best Buy has confirmed that it will have no PS5 units in stores for the entire holiday season, so you will not need to visit any physical Best Buy stores in the hope of finding a PS5 on the shelves by 2021. However, it told potential customers that more systems are coming. It remains to be seen when this happens, but the store usually uses a queuing system when it goes online. This can help stop the bots, but it does not guarantee that you will get one.

PS5 availability on Amazon

We don’t know when you’ll be able to buy a PS5 from Amazon again.

Even Amazon doesn’t know when the PS5 will be in stock, as indicated on the console’s product page.

PS5 availability on target

We don’t know when you’ll be able to buy a PS5 from Target again.

Target hasn’t replenished much since the launch of the PS5, and it’s unclear when it will start taking orders again.

Where to buy PS5 accessories

Some PS5 accessories are hard to find in stock, but there are great options from third parties.

The Pulse 3D wireless headset has been the most difficult PS5 accessory to find in stock, and was the first accessory to be sold at major retailers. Replenishments have come up periodically in recent weeks, although it is still not an item that you can safely buy at any time. However, there are still several excellent headphones that you can buy to accompany your new PS5. Our favorite is the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro wireless headset; other great options include the SteelSeries Arctis 1 and the Astro A50. Any of your existing PS4 headphones should work, too.

Other official PS5 accessories, such as the media remote control and the DualSense charging station, are also proving popular and remain out of stock with occasional refills.

Where to buy the biggest PS5 games

Several PS5 games are available now, including release titles like Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Demon’s Souls. Keep in mind that many PS4 games come with free, state-of-the-art updates with discounts since launch, which makes them a better deal than buying PS5 versions right away.
