PS5 refueling updates for Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy and more

Sony’s PlayStation 5 console has been on the market for more than three months, but the lack of stock means that many players are still looking for a console.

The next generation machine has been in high demand since its November 12 launch, and retailers have yet to receive a steady supply. Instead, consoles are falling into small batches, often without warning and with many being bought by money changers.

As 2020 was coming to an end, an expert said Newsweek he predicted that the scarcity could last for months – a prediction that appears to have proved to be accurate.

Still, some declines are occurring at some retailers, including Walmart, Target, Best Buy and Amazon – although it remains sporadic and unpredictable. Many players have now turned to Twitter accounts dedicated to tracking consoles and monitoring news, including @ PS5StockAlerts, @ PS5StockNews and @TargetRestockAlerts.

As previously reported, PlayStation 5 consoles were restocked at Walmart and Amazon on Thursday, but sold out quickly. Here are the most recent updates on Sunday, March 21st.
