It’s a new year, and players around the world hope it means a better chance of getting one. PS5. 2020 was not good for players; since the launch of the console on November 12, it has sold out everywhere. At the moment, the only consoles you can buy are marked at obscene levels on retailer sites like eBay and StockX, often several times their retail value of $ 400 or $ 500 (depending on the model you want). The console has been virtually impossible to find, with at least one person waiting in line for 36 hours to catch one on a California GameStop.

The PS5 is available in two versions: the $ 500 model with Blu-rayand an identical $ 400 digital version, without a disk slot.
