PS5 refueling update for Amazon, Target, Antonline, Walmart, GameStop and more

After unexpected stock drops earlier this week, the PlayStation 5 is again sold out at major retailers in the U.S.

Players received surprisingly good news on Tuesday, when Amazon and Target launched a limited number of PS5 Digital Edition consoles. Predictably, however, inventories ran out quickly, as has happened with each restock since they were launched in November.

Both PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition are expected to remain frustratingly elusive for gamers at least until the summer, after Sony admitted earlier this month that production was unlikely to increase in the immediate future because of a shortage of components.

Here is an analysis of the latest PS5 refueling information from Walmart, GameStop, Target, Amazon and more.

Amazon PS5 Refueling

The PlayStation 5 is now sold out on Amazon after being available from a limited number of select sellers earlier this week.

The retailer unexpectedly released a small number of PS5 Digital Edition consoles that were quickly purchased and the product is now listed as “currently unavailable” on Amazon’s website. The same applies to the standard version of the PS5, which was not part of the refueling.

Unlike other retailers, Amazon does not announce its refills in advance, but players can follow all updates by following Twitter accounts like @ Wario64 and @GYXdeals, which usually have updates on refills.

Antonline PS5 Refueling

As with other retailers, the PS5 is also not available on Antonline. However, the retailer has already committed to making a limited number of high-end consoles available each week and it is worthwhile to monitor its social media channels to keep up to date on future stock drops.

Best Buy PS5 Refueling

Both versions of the PS5 remain unavailable at Best Buy since the last replenishment quickly sold out earlier this month.

The retailer has yet to announce when more units will arrive, but it is worth checking its website regularly for updates.

GameStop PS5 Restock

GameStop released a limited amount of PS5 last week as part of several different packages, including controllers and games, but all stocks have already run out.

The retailer has warned customers about refueling through its Twitter account and players should follow GameStop’s social media channels for updates on further stock drops.

Newegg PS5 Restock

The PS5 remains unavailable at Newegg and the retailer has not yet indicated when the next stock will fall.

Newegg members, however, can sign up to be notified when the retailer releases more inventory.

Target PS5 Refueling

Target’s latest replenishment of PS5 Digital Edition sold out quickly on Tuesday and the console is no longer available.

The same applies to the standard version of PS5, which has been sold out at Target since last month.

Each time the retailer makes consoles available, PS5s are only available online, with drive-up or pick-up pickup after the order is placed. There was also a limit of one console per customer.

Walmart PS5 Refueling

Both PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition have not been available since Walmart’s last refueling sold out quickly in early February, when the retailer made more consoles available.

Walmart has not yet announced when it will launch more consoles.
