PS5 game Pragmata postponed to 2023, Square Enix’s Athia Project coming in 2022

Capcom’s new action adventure game, Pragmata, is coming later than expected. According to a video presentation shown by Sony at CES 2021 on Monday, Pragmata it is now scheduled to launch in 2023.

When Capcom revealed Pragmata to the world at Sony’s PlayStation 5 “Future of Gaming” event in June 2020, the publisher announced the mysterious new game as a 2022 release for PlayStation 5, Windows PC and Xbox Series X. Capcom’s plans appear to have changed , however, which is not particularly surprising after several game delays were announced last year as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

We contacted Capcom to confirm that PragmataThe new 2023 launch window is accurate. (Capcom press website and Pragmata Twitter account still show a version 2022 window).

Meanwhile PragmataSony’s delay can be disappointing, Sony’s sizzle reel also included a release date that seems earlier than expected: Square Enix’s equally mysterious new game, Athia Project – a title of the Final Fantasy 15 development team – scheduled to launch in January 2022. Athia Project is intended for PS5 and Windows PC. Square Enix has yet to announce a release date.
