According to a new rumor, an exclusive PS5 console released at the launch of the PlayStation console is coming to the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S and soon. At the launch of the PS5, Sony had a variety of true and exclusive console, including Marvel Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Demon’s Souls, Sackboy: a great adventure, Bugsnax, and Fall of God. And one of these is coming to the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series sometime between May and June.
Unfortunately for Xbox fans, the game in question is not Marvel Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Demon’s Soulsor same Sackboy: a great adventure. Instead, the subject of the new rumor is Fall of God, an action RPG from Counterplay Games and Gearbox that failed to impress critics and gamers.
According to the rumor, the game will arrive on the pair of Xbox consoles in May or June, and there are also plans to bring the game to Xbox Game Pass, although it is not clear whether this will be at the launch of the Xbox ports or come later. What is mentioned is that the game will also arrive at Google Stadia later this year and that a new collector’s edition will be launched later this year.
Now, on the superficial level, all of that, at the very least, is plausible, although the word of the game coming to Google Stadia and a new collector’s edition is strange. That said, while nothing here is strange and none of that raises an immediate red flag, it comes from an anonymous 4chan source. And this is a red flag in itself. Although 4chan’s anonymous leaks have provided genuine leaks and accurate rumors in the past – including some high-profile ones – a lot of trash and misinformation also happen. In other words, consider all of this with a great grain of salt.
Although the source in question is of poor quality, the rumor is circulating. Despite this, none of the parties involved – Microsoft, Google, Gearbox or Counterplay Games – commented on the rumor and its claims.
