Tesla owner and YouTube channel presenter Tall tesla guy is … tall … and also released a plethora of videos on the Tesla Model Y in a relatively short period of time. He says his goal is to help people make informed purchasing decisions. If you look at his long list of several Model Y videos, you’ll see that he’s doing just that.
Tall Tesla Guy’s latest video (his real name is Lee) is an in-depth review after the first 4,000 miles of long-range AWD Y ownership. Although it is full of information, it is not ridiculously long. In fact, he goes over all the details in less than 10 minutes. The premise here is: would he buy Model Y again? Is it worth the money? What’s there to love and hate about the Tesla midsize crossover?
Lee says he doesn’t really regret Model Y in general. However, this does not mean that it is a perfect car. There are certainly some things he would change. More specifically, Lee says he believes there are some changes that Tesla could make in producing its electric vehicles, which would work to make them better. In addition, he says his suggestions can be applied to the entire S3XY line during an update or update.
Lee loves the Model Y, its range, fast loading, spacious interior and overall performance. He is also very happy with the car’s technology and the over-the-air updates. Although Lee says his Model Y is not full of obvious problems with quality and fit and finish, he still thinks Tesla can do better in that area.
With that said, Tesla is now finally updating its Model S and Model X, and recently upgraded Model 3 to more closely match Model Y. However, Lee believes it is important for Tesla to stay on top of such updates. People appreciate the new features, not just those that come through software updates.
