‘You fill my life with so much joy’: Property Brothers star Jonathan Scott talks about Zoey Deschanel when she turns 41
They paid sweet tributes to each other when they played on the New Year.
And on Sunday, Jonathan Scott was back on Instagram with another tribute to his beloved Zooey Deschanel when she turned 41.
“Today is my favorite person’s birthday,” explained the star of the reality show Property Brothers while sharing a photo montage.

Scott, 42, went straight to Deschanel, saying, ‘You are thoughtful, talented, hilarious, sweet and just as beautiful inside and out’.
He then added: ‘I know we can’t celebrate like we did last year, but I have some surprises up my sleeve.
He concluded with: ‘#HappyBirthday, @ZooeyDeschanel. You fill my life with so much joy. ‘
Deschanel responded by commenting: ‘Aw !!!! You are the sweetest and I am the luckiest! ‘

The couple met in August 2019 while filming a segment of the Carpool Karaoke with James Corden.
Shortly after, the actress announced that she had separated from her four-year-old husband Jacob Pechenik, with whom she shares two young children.
She and Scott confirmed their relationship in September 2019 and Deschanel’s divorce was finalized last June.

In early January, Deschanel called Scott his ‘2020 MVP’ as he celebrated the start of a new year.

In turn, Scott celebrated the beginning of 2021 by posting: ‘I am dedicating this year to love, happiness and the quest to help others. I feel like I got off to a good start on the love side. ‘
