A new and official Resident Evil Village The promotional image of Japan appeared online and is circulating for apparently leaking an important, unannounced character that Capcom has probably been trying to keep secret or save for the final game trailer. The new game that is more or less Resident Evil 8 it’s just a month away from being released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC, but it looks like there are some important characters we don’t know about.
On Twitter, user Masa shared a new promotional image released by Capcom, for the game, in Japan. The image shows Ethan Winters – the protagonist – and his baby Rose, who is being carried by Chris Redfield. In addition, there is also a character placed prominently, but heavily obscured, wearing some kind of helmet / mask. If you do not recognize the character, it is because it has not yet been revealed and, at the time of publication, it has not been corrected.

Although this image has been floating around for a few days, Capcom has not approached it with any kind of comment or additional information, leaving fans with nothing but speculation. As for who it could be, no one knows for sure, but some are theorizing that it is “Mother Miranda”, to whom Lady Dimitrescu refers in one of the game’s trailers.
Resident Evil Village is scheduled for release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S on May 7. Below, you can read more about the game:
