Professional golfer Michelle Wie disgusted by Rudy Giuliani’s scary story about her ‘panties’

Golf champion Michelle Wie criticized Rudy Giuliani for telling a scary story about her “panties” on Steve Bannon’s podcast.

Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer was remembering the good times with Rush Limbaugh and told a “funny” story on Thursday when he and the late radio fanatic king played in a golf tournament with Wie years ago.

Giuliani called Wie “beautiful” and said that, while putting on, she “bends over and shows off her panties”.

Wie fired back on Twitter on Friday: “My stance six years ago was designed to improve my placement statistics (I ended up winning the United States Open that year), NOT as an invitation to look up my skirt!

It is “disturbing to hear this highly inappropriate story shared on a podcast by a public figure referring to my ‘panties’,” she said, without mentioning Giuliani’s name.

“What that person should have remembered from that day, was the fact that I got 64 and beat all the male golf players on the field, leading our team to victory,” added Wie. “I shudder thinking that he was smiling at me and praising me for my game while objectifying me and referring to my ‘panties’ on my back all day.”

She also emphasized: “What should be discussed is the level of elite skill that women play with, not what we wear or look like.”

The United States Golf Association responded to Wie with a message of support. “Sexism has no place in golf or in life,” tweeted. “We are always by your side.”

After Giuliani told the story of the tournament, he asked Bannon: “Is it okay to tell this joke? I’m not sure.”

“We already told you, so I don’t know,” replied Bannon.

Wie, 31, is a five-time winner of the Ladies Professional Golf Association tournament. She is currently on maternity leave after giving birth to a daughter, Makenna Kamalei Yoona West, last year.

Giuliani is reportedly the subject of several investigations. A national group of lawyers filed an ethical complaint against him last month, asking the state of New York to suspend its legal license for its lies about electoral fraud and its efforts to undermine the 2020 election.
