The 27-year-old Dancing with the Stars professional revealed just a glimpse of her journey giving birth by sharing updates with her fans on Instagram before welcoming her son into the world.

Witney posted a moving black and white snapshot holding her newborn’s hand with her husband’s finger holding her fist.
“After a really difficult 24-hour labor and an unexpected caesarean … we are all healthy and well,” she shared. ‘We are very grateful and have been absorbing every moment with our perfect angel boy. Thanks for all the prayers! ‘
McAllister stood by his wife for the entire delivery day, while the two enjoyed their final moments as a family of two.

‘I never loved this man more than now,’ she wrote in a photo with her husband. ‘He’s a real angel.
In the comfort of his hospital bed, Witney shared that he received an epidural to help with pain control.
‘Contractions are a living hell, but the epidural is heaven … so I’m doing great,’ she captioned a photo while Carson massaged her hand.
