Cold War Black Ops professionals are labeling a weapon as too good, leading to a ban on the weapon in competitive games.
From time to time, a weapon will appear in FPS games that is too good for competitive play. If you stay on the finish line, the teams will end up using it, as well as Warzone with the superpowered DMR.
To avoid this problem, professional players tend to exclude certain weapons from the competitive game. Now, it appears that Cold War Black Ops players have just made a big ban.
The latest GA (or Gentlemen’s Agreement) is not strictly law in the Call of Duty League. However, a GA acts as an understanding that no professional player will use this weapon in tournaments.
Pros of Cold War Black Ops ban the AK-47
Because the weapon was very powerful in the Cold War Black Ops, professional players decided to ban the AK-47. In the latest GA, Call of Duty League players are saying goodbye to the iconic assault rifle.
After the AK-47 has become very meta-defining, professionals are deciding to abandon it. Some players have shared their views on the change and, so far, things look positive.
Now that the AK-47 is out of the way, however, a new goal will emerge. And with that new goal comes a new weapon that many will label as powerful.
At the moment, it looks like Krig 6 will be the weapon of choice at the CDL, but there is still time for things to change. After the AK has been out of the game for a while, professional players will discover a new dominant weapon to build their squads.

We recently reported that the shift from the Call of Duty League to the PC is attracting hackers. Hopefully, Activision is in control of things as we move into the 2021 season.
Of course, just because the AK-47 is the best weapon in CDL, it does not mean that it is the first choice for all players. In fact, the best weapons in Multiplayer Black Ops Cold War are slightly different from those that professional players use.
On the other hand, in Warzone, it’s a completely different story. In Battle Royale, even competitive players are breaking records with Warzone’s DMR.
