Priyanka Chopra defended by presenting the Oscar Noms

“Would you love your opinion on what qualifies someone?”

You, go Priyanka Chopra! The actor applauded a reporter who said that she and her husband, Nick Jonas, are not qualified enough to be the host of the 2021 Oscars.

It was not long before Chopra closed the journalist, who tweeted, “No disrespect for these two, but I’m not sure if their contribution to the films qualifies them to announce Oscar nominees”.

She responded with a video as she scrolled the IMDB page to show how extensive her credits are, which include her new Netflix movie, The white tiger, Don 2, Bajirao Mastani, and his 2017 film with Zac Efron and The Rock, Baywatch.

Of course, Jonas also starred in many films. He appeared alongside The Rock and Kevin Hart in Jumanji: Welcome to the jungle, and he is also known for playing Nate at Disney’s Camp Rock.

As a very established actor, Chopra has learned to deal well with online criticism. She explained how she can keep her cool when people say rude things about her on social media.

“I’m just like everyone else,” she said to Marie Claire. “In the morning, when I’m driving to work or drinking my coffee, I’m flipping through Twitter, Instagram, the news, and when my name comes up, I think, ‘Okay, what are people saying? How are we feeling?’ “

“I just don’t react or let it affect my mental well-being,” continued Chopra.

The next person who questions Chopra’s acting experience may want to think twice before sharing his opinion on social media.
