Pringles launches a new Halo-inspired flavor with Moa Burger

Pringles launched a new flavor of chips inspired by areola franchise as we are getting Moa Burger. If you are not fully familiar with what a Moa is, they are essentially alien ostriches that live on the planet Reach. They have wings, but they cannot fly, and the neck and head have scales. You come across some in some of the games, but they are basically harmless background creatures that you see occasionally are also a delicacy. The chips will officially go on sale this month exclusively at Walmart, but we’re not sure if they only come in the form of a wavy chip as you can see below or if they also come in the standard Pringles shape. Here are some more details about the company’s chips.

Through the Pringles‘exclusive partnership with areola, the new Moa Burger flavor brings food from the areola universe to life with an interstellar touch on the bird Moa much appreciated, sometimes assembled and often misunderstood. THE Pringles The Wavy Moa Burger fries, sporting a thick wavy texture to offer a bold crispness, present a mixture of flavors, including garlic, sweet ginger and salted meat. Each bite ends with a slightly desirable heat of chili and red pepper that will take the taste buds on a journey to new star systems.

“THE areola-verse has one of the biggest fan bases within the gaming world, so we had to create a flavor that presented a flavor that fans previously could only imagine – the famous ‘Moa Burger’ “, said Gareth Maguire, senior director of marketing for Pringles. “We are proud to create incredibly precise flavor combinations, and this one was fun to develop. Although Moa Burger has a taste that everyone likes, we hope it will be appreciated – and perhaps even collected – by areola fans. ”
