Christopher Nolan’s time-changing thriller Principle will debut on HBO Max on May 1, just a few months after the director calls it “the worst streaming service”.
Principle was scheduled to be released in theaters last July, but had its opening date delayed several times because of the coronavirus pandemic. It opened in theaters outside the United States, including Canada, France, Japan and the United Kingdom in August, and in theaters in the United States in September.
Nolan, long a supporter of watching movies on the big screen, openly criticized Warner Bros. ‘decision to release all of his 2021 films simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max.
