Princess Eugenie is a mother!
The daughter of Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew welcomed the first child with a husband Jack Brooksbank. “Her Royal Highness, Princess Eugenie, gave birth to a son safely today, February 9, 2021, at 8:55 am at Portland Hospital,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement. “Jack Brooksbank was present. The baby weighs 2.5 kg.”
“The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Duke of York, Sarah, the Duchess of York and you and Mrs George Brooksbank have been informed and are very pleased with the news,” continued the message. “This is the first son of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, the Duke of York and Sarah, the first grandchild of the Duchess of York and the ninth great-grandchild of the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh. Her royal highness and her son are doing well.”
Eugenie also shared the first photo of her son’s hand on Instagram, captioning the sweet photo with three blue hearts.
