Another real baby has arrived!
On Tuesday, Princess Eugenie, the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, gave birth to her first child with husband Jack Brooksbank, a son.
“Her Royal Highness, Princess Eugenie, gave birth to a son safely today, February 9, 2021,” confirmed the palace on Tuesday. “The baby weighs 8 pounds. 1 ounce ”
Eugenie, 30, gave birth at the Portland Hospital in London and Brooksbank, 35, was present.
“The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Duke of York, Sarah, the Duchess of York and you and Mrs George Brooksbank have been informed and are very pleased with the news,” the statement continues.
After the birth of her son on Tuesday, Eugenie shared a black and white photo of the new family of three on Instagram.
Eugenie, who is the tenth in line to the British throne behind older sister Beatrice, 32, married Brooksbank at Windsor Castle in 2018, the same year and in the same location. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were married. The couple reportedly moved out of the Sussexes’ Frogmore Cottage home in December.
Eugenie’s pregnancy was announced in September.
