A longtime confidant to Princess Diana does not believe she would be happy with her son, Prince Harry or his wife, Meghan Markle.
On Friday, Buckingham Palace confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not return to their duties as members of the royal family. The announcement came just over a year after Harry, 36, and Markle, 39, announced that they would be “stepping back” as senior royalty for a one-year review period.
The designer Roberto Devorik, who was a close friend of Diana before her death in 1997 at the age of 36, believes that the late princess would be “furious” with Harry because of her disagreement with the family and probably at odds with Markle for contributing to the division . Talking to Hola! Devorik explains that Diana’s greatest desire was to see her children shape a “modern monarchy”, which Harry can no longer do.
“I think Meghan is the boss … Harry is a boy who has suffered a lot and believes that Meghan has Diana’s legacy. But he is very confused, ”Devorik told the vehicle (via The Daily Mail).

As for the queen’s decision to deprive the couple of their sponsorships, Devorik believes the move was the only “logical” step left for the monarch, now that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are essentially earning their own money in California.
“You cannot go into exile and receive money from Netflix or Disney and also want to continue charging the State for your presentations to the Crown,” he explains.
The stylist adds: “You can’t live in a mansion in Montecito, California, and sign millionaire commercial contracts, and also want to receive money from public coffers or continue to represent the Crown.”

He concluded his thoughts on Meghan and Harry’s departure by condemning the statement they released shortly after the palace statement on behalf of the Queen who officially announced her departure.

Devorik called the statement “shameful” and noted that the implication that someone is “forbidding” Harry to help people is false.
The split in the royal family is supposed to go deeper than just Harry, Meghan and the Queen. A source close to Prince William told The Sunday Times that he is “very upset about what happened” and considered the couple’s behavior “insulting and disrespectful”.

Despite the recent news, friends of the two brothers insisted that their relationship will heal over time.
