The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge lost the Lupo family dog last year. They called the occasion “very sad” in an emotional post on Instagram announcing the news.
However, the royal couple and their three children appear to have received a new dog from Kate Middleton’s brother.
James Middleton has been raising dogs since 2011 and has given Cambridges a black cocker spaniel about eight months old, according to reports.
The name of the new dog is not known, but it is the same breed as the late Lupo.
Lupo is considered the uncle of the new dogs.
“I had an honest conversation with Sean Fletcher for the BBC’s Sunday Live show with Pets As Therapy talking about how dogs can change lives in so many different ways.”
He added: “I really believe that animals are medicine and they really are incredible for our own well-being.”
In other real news, Prince William and Kate Middleton had access to the Queen’s Sandringham House specifically for work purposes.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be able to use the Queen’s property to make real video calls.
Kate Middleton filmed a clip on the property in which she praises nurses’ efforts during the coronavirus pandemic.
The couple usually live in their country house, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk.
Prince William also recently called a doctor’s office in Yately to hear about efforts being made to vaccinate as many vulnerable patients as possible.
Dr Gareth Robinson, Managing Partner at Oakley Heath Group, called the Duke’s summons “a real boost in morale”.
