Prince Philip spent a second night in a London hospital after the 99-year-old was admitted for feeling ill.

Buckingham Palace announced that Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II husband was admitted to the private King Edward VII Hospital on Tuesday night. He called the admission “a precautionary measure” taken on the advice of Philip’s doctor.

The Duke of Edinburgh has so far spent two nights in the hospital for an undisclosed reason, the UK DailyMail reported on Thursday. According to the vehicle, he is preparing to spend the third night under the care of doctors.

The palace did not immediately respond to Fox News’s request for comment.

Royal biographer Penny Juror told the BBC Breakfast that the chances are that the duke is not really satisfied with all the newfound attention he is receiving.

“I think he can be quite frank and I think if he felt that people were messing with him, he could be quite frank about it,” said Jurado, quoted by The Mail.

“This is a man who does not want confusion on his 100th birthday, so the fact that he is in the hospital and receives some confusion about him will really irritate him.”

According to The Mail, palace sources claimed that the royal “cheerful” was “in a very good mood” prior to his admission and was “in a good mood” during his stay.

The palace said Philip must stay for a few days of “observation and rest”. Your disease is not believed to be related to the coronavirus. The 94-year-old queen and Filipe received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in early January.

Philip retired from public office in 2017 and rarely appears in public. Its most recent public event was a military ceremony at Buckingham Palace in July.

During the current coronavirus confinement in England, the duke is staying at Windsor Castle, west of London, with the queen, who functions as meetings with dignitaries remotely.

If the blockade allows, the royal house is planning celebrations to mark Philip’s 100th birthday on June 10.

Philip married then Princess Elizabeth in 1947 and is the oldest royal consort in British history. He and the queen have four children, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A former Navy officer and polo player, Philip enjoyed robust health until old age, but has had several health problems in recent years.

In 2011, he was rushed to a hospital by helicopter after experiencing chest pain and receiving treatment for a coronary artery obstruction. In 2017, he spent two nights at King Edward VII hospital and was hospitalized for 10 days in 2018 for a hip prosthesis.

Philip retired from public office in 2017 and rarely appears in public.  Its most recent public event was a military ceremony at Buckingham Palace in July.

Philip was last hospitalized in December 2019, spending four nights at King Edward VII Hospital for what the palace said was the planned treatment of a pre-existing condition.

He was forced to give up driving at the age of 97 after crashing into a car while driving a Land Rover near the Sandringham estate in January 2019. Philip needed help getting out of the Land Rover, but he was not injured. A woman in the other vehicle broke her wrist.

But even after that, Philip continued to drive a horse and carriage on private land from time to time.
