As part of Bethesda’s Xbox membership, several Bethesda Softworks titles were added to the Xbox Game Pass today. The Xbox Wire post accompanying yesterday’s announcement confirmed that some titles would receive improvements to the Xbox FPS Boost, allowing Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S owners to run the titles at 60 FPS instead of 30 FPS.

During Larry Hyrb’s Xbox podcast, (timestamp 14:14) his co-host Jeff Rubenstein confirmed that five of the Bethesda games on the Xbox Game Pass are benefiting from the Xbox FPS Boost. The titles being improved are Prey, Dishonored: Definitive Edition, Skyrim: Special Edition, Fallout 4 and Fallout 76. No exact date has been given as to when these games will receive this support exactly, so keep an eye out for next week or so.

Now that Bethesda is the first part of the Xbox, teams will work more closely together, with Xbox boss Phil Spencer explaining that, out of contractual obligations (like Deathloop and Ghostwire: Tokyo), Bethesda being part of the Xbox means delivering games exclusive for platforms “where there is a Game Pass”.
