Looks like Lil Wayne could be left off the hook in your federal weapon case by none other than President Trump … who is expected to forgive the rapper before the end of his term.
Trump is believed to have a long list of names for his final round of commutations and pardons – about 50 to 100 people – and according to Fox News … he will announce them in a big reveal on Tuesday or, on the most recent, Wednesday morning before Joe Bideninauguration of.
When he does, it looks like people expect Lil Wayne to be a notable beneficiary of a presidential pardon … which you can’t help but think maybe thanks for supporting Trump in the days leading up to the 2020 elections.
As you may remember … Weezy posed for a photo opportunity aged 45 and praised his record with criminal justice reform, along with the “platinum plan” proposed by the Trump administration to helping the black community.

Trump also praised Lil Wayne as an activist and a “really nice guy”. Weezy has received a lot of criticism for his pow wow, but it looks like he’s on track to reap a big reward for it now.
As we reported … Wayne pleaded guilty in federal court last month for illegally carrying a loaded gun while traveling to Miami on a private jet a year earlier.
The rapper is a convicted felon, so he faces the possibility of up to 10 years in prison on the sentence … although he is likely to receive much less than that for agreeing to the guilty plea.
Of course, he will go unpunished if presidential pardon comes … so the final days of Trump’s term will be big for Lil Wayne.
