Position status: South Carolina’s tight ends

South Carolina’s tight end position returns a super senior and several young players with minimal production.

Nick Muse, who was transferred from William & Mary before the 2019 season, ended his second year in South Carolina with 30 receptions for 425 yards and a touchdown. The oldest statesman in the tight end group of five players took 17 passes for 158 yards during his first season in Columbia.

Keveon Mullins redshirted during his first season, then switched wide receiver in 2020. However, an injury limited him to five games, during which he had three receptions in 110 yards. Jaheim Bell took a pass on a handful of pressures in five games like a real freshman.

None Traevon Kenion nor Eric Shaw was approved in 2020. Kenion is entering its third year with the program and will be Shaw’s second year.
