Since the GT4 is a little more common than the Spyder, it is a little cheaper in the used car market. Neither of these cars has plummeted in price, but both offer thousands of savings compared to the new 718 models. We find used Cayman GT4 prices starting at $ 75,000. That’s about $ 25,000 less than a new model before taking into account Porsche’s expensive options. As for the Boxster Spyder, the least expensive example we found cost just under $ 90,000, representing savings of around $ 10,000 over a new one with no options.
Porsche option prices are what is important to remember here, as any of the cars can reach around $ 140,000 with the addition of a few extras. Those looking for even greater savings should look at the Boxster Spyder and Cayman R of the 987 generation, both of which can be found for less than $ 60,000 and offer an excellent driving experience.
