Popular Nintendo 3DS series reportedly being revived on the switch and PS4

A popular Nintendo 3DS series is being revived on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, PS4 and PC. As usual, the Taiwan Digital Games Classification Committee has leaked a lot of games, including a pair of ports for a pair of great Nintendo 3DS games. According to the Taiwan classification board, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles — consisting of THE Great Ace Attorney and The Great Ace Lawyer 2 – are reaching the mentioned platforms. And now, these are the only platforms that have been evaluated. There is no mention of PS5 or any Xbox console.

Unfortunately, that is all that the ranking board reveals. There is no mention of a release date, however, usually, although not always, when a game is classified for release, it is close to being released, or at least this is the case when ESRB or PEGI. Taiwan is known for evaluating games long before the launch, but also for the announcement.

In short, while it is possible that these ratings mean that Capcom will have an official announcement soon, that assumption is far from a dunk. In fact, because nothing here is official and from the mouth of Capcom PR, it is advisable to take everything with caution. That said, if anything looks familiar, it’s because last year’s massive Capcom leak – which is slow but certainly coming true – included news from those two doors.

At the time of publication, Capcom did not comment on any of this, and is unlikely to do so. Like many in the industry, Capcom maintains a very strict “no comment” policy when it comes to leaks, especially the rating plate variety. If you provide a comment, we’ll be sure to update the story accordingly.
