A 12-year-old boy is in critical condition after being stabbed inside a McDonald’s on Avenida da Liberdade. Pittsburgh Public Security tweeted on Saturday at about 3:10 pm
The police told WPXI that the boy was part of a family of four in line, when a “random” man approached and stabbed the boy in the neck. The police and EMS responded to the call shortly after 2 pm.

An investigation is underway, the police said. Detectives from the Major Crime and Crime Scene units are processing the scene, reviewing video evidence and speaking with eyewitnesses.
