
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – Fort Wayne police are reporting one dead and one life-threatening after an accident on Saturday morning.
The accident would have happened around 8 am on Clinton Street.
Police said a fire truck was responding to a call when drivers saw another car traveling “too fast for the weather”.
According to authorities, the car hit a curb and got out of control before it hit the fire truck.
The police told us that the passenger was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver was taken to the hospital in life-threatening conditions.
Police say no one on the fire truck was injured.
The police blocked Clinton and Grove for more than 3 hours.
