Police in search of thieves who hit the victim with an AR pistol during the assault, officials say

HOUSTON – A search is underway for two men wanted in connection with a qualified robbery.

The incident occurred around 4 pm on December 14 in the 18700 block of John F. Kennedy Boulevard, police said.

According to authorities, a person was carrying some items in his vehicle when he was approached by two armed men who demanded that the victim climb to the ground. The victim refused, so one of the thieves hit the person in the head with an AR pistol, police said.

Police said the victim tried to escape, but the second suspect reached out and threw the victim to the ground and stole his wallet and money before fleeing the scene in a white Dodge Challenger and a gray Toyota Camry.
