Police chase in multiple counties ends with driver running at Orange County Walmart – NBC Los Angeles

The police chase for a black Mercedes Benz without license plates started in Riverside County, before ending with the chase driver running inside an Orange County Walmart on Monday night.

Newschopper4 overcame the chase at around 10:30 pm in the Anaheim Hills area, with a black car driving at low speed on the 91 Freeway heading west.

The chase started at 9:57 pm, Riverside police said, adding that a passenger got out of the chase vehicle in Riverside.

The chase began in connection with a violation of a vehicle code in Riverside County. Riverside police said the car had no license plates and three people were inside when the chase started.

The car was traveling at about 55 mph on the highway, so it was not a high-speed chase.

At around 10:47 pm, the car pulled off the highway and into surface streets in the Buena Park area and started driving a little more irregularly, suddenly stopping.

At one of these stops, the black car stopped in the middle of the street, before the passenger rear door opened and a woman got out of the car.

Shortly after 11 pm, the driver stopped at a shopping mall in Westminster, before driving to the curb and parking the car right in front of a Walmart main entrance before running inside.

About five to ten minutes later, the police appeared to have stopped someone at a nearby corner.
